Ford Shelby GT500

The Shelby GT500 was the fastest Mustang to 1967. With his 360 horsepower this Ford Shelby was the best choice for the buyers.
Now - 2009, Ford Shelby GT500 is here again. It have 500hp, because it in other case it will not be GT500
This Shelby GT500 can develop speed of 60mph for just 4,6 sec and this Ford can pass quarter-mile for just 12 seconds.
The brakes in this Shelby GT500 are really good - it is with Bremo brakes feature four-piston calipers, two-piston calipers and 11.8-inch discs in back and 14-inch rotors up front - that gives stability and you will be able to stop as you start this Ford

Volkswagen Blue Sport Roadster

Volkswagen's new two-door roadster sports a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four mounted amidships. It puts out 180 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque and pushes just 2,600 pounds via a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Expect a 0-60 of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 140, all while returning about 35 mpg on the European cycle and upwards of 62 mpg in "Eco" mode.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

The Jeep Wrangler stands alone. It is the only car in America you can buy with easily removable doors, a fold-down windshield, and a heritage going back to World War II. Incredibly, the years have left not only the look but also the character intact, despite a thorough redesign and parts from the corporate bin.The Wrangler is a better off-road vehicle than many rugged trucks costing twice as much, (including any Ford, which do have boundaries), but there are natural tradeoffs. You get to take off the roof and doors, but the cargo area is miniscule.

Mercedes-Benz SLK 350

I'm six hours into my first drive of Mercedes' new SLK and after spending most of them on the fabulous, twisting mountain roads of Majorca it's time to head back to base for the inevitable debrief with the project engineers. Most of them have lived and breathed the baby Benz for the last three years so any sort of criticism is taken almost personally.
Hellmut Polz is product manager of the new SLK and he tells me that its main benchmark rivals were the BMW Z4 and Porsche Boxster. It's pretty obvious he's chuffed with the result, especially with what he claims are the class-leading dynamics of the SLK compared with its two deadly rivals.

Tata Nano

Honestly, you can’t really ask for much when you’re buying a brand new car at just $2,500 like the Tata Nano. It has become extremely popular in its native India, and is gearing up to be released in other territories, including Europe.
But it seems that Tata isn’t happy with shipping an India-spec Nano to these countries, and is considering implementing some upgrades to the model, among which a better acceleration and … wait for it … a tailgate. No, I’m not kidding, it seems that future Nano owners will be able to push the 33 HP engine to a new redline at 6,000 rpm, but due to safety considerations, the top speed will still be limited to 65 mph. Also, the Indian engineers are considering shipping the Nano with a five-speed gearbox in Europe, and keeping the four-speed one in the local market.

Zero Pollution Motors MDI Air Car

If you can, imagine a vehicle that runs on air, achieves over 100 gas-equivalent mpg and over 90 mph, has zero to low C02 emissions, seats six, has plenty of space for luggage, cuts no safety corners, and costs no more than an average economy to mid-size vehicle. This is the expected performance of the revolutionary Air Car that Zero Pollution Motors (ZPM) is introducing to North America. The vehicle runs on the Compressed Air Technology (C.a.t.) developed by Motor Development International (MDI), a 15-year old company based in Nice, France, and headed by inventor and Formula One race car engineer, Guy Negre. ZPM is the exclusive representative for MDI in the United States.

Saturn Sky car review

The Saturn Sky is one of the most exciting new vehicles to come down the pike, not because of its blazing speed (it’s not all that fast), its excellent cornering and road feel, or its technology; but because it provides the looks of the first-generation Dodge Viper in a cute, sporty, small package. The Sky is one of those rare cars that makes heads turn - both male and female heads - and causes kids to drop what they’re doing, gape, and yell “nice car!” Driving the Sky is an enjoyable experience even without an audience; the rubber grips the road with surprising tenacity, and you find yourself taking ever-sharper, ever-faster turns and enjoying it more.

Aston Martin DB9

Aston Martin introduced a revised version of the company's critically acclaimed Aston Martin DB9 at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, which includes significant enhancements to standard specification. These changes include a revised version of Aston Martin's 6.0 litre V12 engine to deliver improved power and torque. Peak power of 470bhp (350kW) - increased by 20bhp (30Nm) - is now reached at 6,000rpm, resulting in a power to weight ratio of 267bhp per tonne (199kW/tonne) - an increase of 11bhp per tonne over the existing Aston Martin DB9

2011 McLaren MP4-12C

With McLaren Automotive and Mercedes-Benz having pretty much dissolved the ties that led to their creation of the 2005–09 Mercedes SLR McLaren, the Woking, U.K.-based company is planning to reinvigorate itself with a range of new mid-engine supercars. And after teasing us for months with camouflaged test mules and tight lips, McLaren had our full attention when it released an encyclopedia’s worth of details for the first model in the series, the 2011 McLaren MP4-12C, ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt auto show later this month.

Mini Roadster Concept - Auto Shows

Mini recently announced that its Oxford plant—which currently spews forth the hatchback, convertible, and Clubman—would add two new models to its assembly lines. One was confirmed to be the production version of the freshly revealed coupe concept, and it’s a pretty easy to assume that this roadster will be the marque’s fifth body style. Both the coupe and roadster concepts are bowing at the Frankfurt auto show.

2009 Dodge Caliber SRT4

But then there is the steering, which is a touch too heavy and numb. The suspension is too softly damped, causing some roll and in certain cases, horrendous front-end bobbing. Couple those with a car that weighs over 3,100 pounds and the Caliber SRT4 is not the smoothest car to handle. Not really confidence-inspiring, but if the driver can reign in the car and use a delicate hand and foot, this can a fast little car. The “half-full” side of me does appreciate the supple ride on the freeway and not being roughed up by an overly-tuned suspension.
I may be grasping at straws right now, but do not fret. There are some positives.

Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid Covers

As we're getting closer to the Frankfurt motor show, automakers are letting out new details on their vehicle introductions. This time it's Toyota that has released information on new its Prius plug-in hybrid that will be leased to selected fleet customers around the world from early 2010 so the company can evaluate the vehicle in a real-world environment as it prepares for a potential market launch.

Saleen S7

Exotic supercars are extreme in every sense. But what to make of this claim: According to the Saleen S7 press release, its aerodynamic ground effects are so effective, and create so much down force (what holds a car to the road at high speeds), that even if you drove the S7 upside down at 160 mph on some sort of Hot Wheels roller-coaster track that exploded into real-life scale, the car wouldn't lose its contact with the road. Of course they didn't explain how they know this, and, sorry, we're not volunteering to test out the theory.Meanwhile, the S7 power plant is decidedly less outlandish than its ground effects. The motor is derived from a Ford Mustang, then deeply modified. It's made entirely of aluminum, has stainless-steel valves with titanium retainers, and a high vacuum dry sump and stainless-steel exhaust. It breathes through roof-mounted intakes and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Power output is a claimed 550 horsepower, with performance of less than four seconds to 60 mph and a top speed in excess of 200 mph.

Lamborghini Gallardo

Lamborghini Gallardo is a super luxury car, named after a famous breed of fighting bull. It is a sports car with exotic looks and the performance to match. It has a mid-mounted V10 engine, all-wheel drive and the availability of an F1-style transmission. The car has the top speed of 315km per hour.Design and InteriorThe car is equipped with a series of high-end features like optional e-gear replacing six speed manual gearbox; new Callisto wheels and sports set up, with racing steering wheel, steering and suspension, sequential gear shifting system with paddles mounted on the steering wheel etc. The redesigned four-wheel-drive system, improved suspension design, and optimized aerodynamics contribute an improved driving experience. A weight reduction of 44 lbs and decreased friction between the components also improves performance.Car body is made on structural aluminum spaceframe. It has aluminum double wishbones front and rear suspension systems, anti-roll bar, anti-dive and anti-squat, and self-adjusting FSD dampers. The heated seats of the car have been have been made more comfortable and better-looking leather

2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS - Car News

Porsche is setting up a killer one-two punch for this year’s Frankfurt auto show. Alongside its range-topping 911 Turbo, the company will debut its most visceral offering, the snarling 2010 911 GT3 RS. Based on the already primal GT3, the RS gets another 15 hp from the 3.8-liter flat-six for a total of 450, or more than 118 hp per liter. A racing machine tamed for street use, the GT3 RS is hardly just about horsepower. It gets a wider track, it weighs less, and it produces more downforce than the GT3.

2010 Toyota Prius: First Drive

Unfortunately the design of the 2010 Prius is mostly indistinguishable from the ’09 model, which is a shame because Toyota has done a lot to improve the car. In fact, Toyota is taking a big step with this third-gen platform, in an attempt at moving it from a niche market science project to a mainstream auto.
To do this, the 2010 Prius has two very different sides to it. In order to appeal to a larger audience Toyota is making it easier to use while offering plenty of high-tech gadgets that will draw in up-market customers.

V3

And so the Multipla went on, happy about being aesthetically challenged against a tide of blandly inoffensive family boxes. But then came facelift time in 2004 and Fiat, out of the blue, made it all normal, like any other people carrier. Gone were the torches and the mismatching upper section, replaced by regular headlamps and a windscreen that actually looks like it fits the car properly, for shame. Still, Fiat must be doing something right because it's still on sale today, 11 years later.

Fiat Multipla

Fiat's unique take on the people carrier is the second product of Chris Bangle's off-piste pencil on this list. The 'three-plus-three' MPV was almost terrifying in its ugliness, yet, somehow, that imbued it with an appeal unmatched by anything else - a quirk that ensured the 1998 Multipla became the choice for the thinking family. That's despite a front-end that eschewed headlights in favour of six pocket-sized torches.
